TERRIFIC! suitable for kitchen and dining room

Wow! This light is AWESOME! I was a little skeptical after reading some of the reviews and hoped I hadn't made a mistake in my purchase. I had no problems at all. I've made spaghetti with semolina flour and rigatoni with regular white flour. Both came out amazing. Rigatoni cut perfectly on both ends and don't stick together as some claim. The only thing you can do with spaghetti is make sure to dust the pasta with flour when squeezing it out, otherwise it will stick together. With the rigatoni,

I wish I could return it

This works great but compared to the other machine that rolls out the dough and makes basic fettuccine spaghetti etc it's a lot more work and takes longer. When I first made pasta I used a 3 part pasta roller and cutter (great success with it) and then this pasta press with the same dough. You have to keep pushing the pasta dough in because when you cut the pasta, you'll mess up one side of the pasta or other hollow pasta you're making. I tried 3 different nozzles and they all looked the same…

So much fun! for spare parts and accessories for small appliances

This is a very fun cooking project! My only downside would be the recipe in the instructions, I need almost three times as much water to get a very dry dough. The dough rose, judging by the photo. The KitchenAid advertisement on their website mentions many recipes, but I've only found one batter recipe that matches the one in the brochure. You would think they would have multiple recipes for spinach dough. Beetroot, tomato, even squid ink. You will also see that it is recommended to process 2…

Tips and tricks for using this product

I have to say I was very happy to receive this product as I received the kitchen blender. Early in the holiday season, this amazing tool takes pasta making to the next level. Tips & Tricks Don't use or try not to use a lot of water in the batter recipe I used this recipe 2 cups flour 1 teaspoon salt 3 eggs In a cooking bowl, using a fork, mix all the ingredients together until the egg is sufficiently mixed in with the Using hands, don't make it flaky, and it will be difficult to hold it all…

The right batter is the key to this bait.

So I bought this for my birthday with my own money. I couldn't wait to open it up and start making extruded noodles. All summer I've enjoyed making pasta with my kitchen press and spaghetti and fettuccine machines. Made ravioli and tortellini. I'm used to working with my quail egg pasta dough (it's a wetter dough). Anyway, I followed the T-recipe that came with this new purchase. OMG I couldn't assemble it it was too dry. I added a little more water and then the dough became too moist to go…

I love this thing! The recipe is below:

We love it from the start! Now we cook pasta at least once a week and have used all types of pasta. We've had similar pasta machines in the past, but this one is amazing compared to everything else we've tried. Our learning curve wasn't bad, but here are some tips to get you started. 1- Give your KitchenAid time to cool down if you are cooking more than 1 batch of pasta. After a while the engine will warm up. 2- Do not overload the hopper with pasta dough; just throw in a new ball as soon as…

Storage case NOT included but generally works well

Before purchasing this model I was wondering how it differed from the KitchenAid KPEXTA which is currently about $30 cheaper. I couldn't find anything about the differences other than what I could see in the photos. There was a noticeable difference in the way the cutter was attached and the shape and size of the screw on the retaining ring for the "noodle plates" so I figured they made some design changes and that's the only reason I'm seeing was the percentage of errors or complaints compared

  • Consistent test results

  • Obsolete model

I love it very much! - Kitchen & Dining

Received the pasta press yesterday and made the pasta today. That's cool! The pasta turned out just great. The press appears to be well made and has a good range of pasta to choose from. Easy to set up and use. I expect nothing less from KitchenAid. Btw, I make pasta with a Kitchenaid pasta cutter, so I have some experience with pasta. Those abs will work great for you, but understand it's all about the dough. It must be neither too dry nor too wet. Dry dough crumbles and does not stick…

Impossible Noodles! - Kitchen and dining room

The pasta I made is 100% gluten and grain free because I used red lentil flour! I've wanted this bait for a while but was concerned that the wheat free batter would not fit, be too sticky or not work through. Passed out due to a worsening of a chronic illness and suddenly stopped eating wheat/gluten or corn. Within 6 months my life was turned upside down. I had a reaction to corn added to salt and even tap water, causing excruciating pain and severe nausea. Also, due to my chronic illness, I…
