Very good compact pliers

These pliers are comfortable to hold, the high lever design is a big plus, they can cut 14 gauge galvanized wire very easily, only traces are visible when the wire is black in color being cut , no damage to metal (if the cut surface weren't painted black there probably wouldn't even be a visible mark), other than that they're great and easy to use.

Knipex makes the best pliers

Knipex makes the best pliers. I've added to my collection over the years and have pairs that I've used daily for years without the edges dulling noticeably, although I do cut through spring steel from time to time. All are ready to use with no run-in time to dissolve. The handles don't slip either. This pair will probably hold up just as well as my old ones.
