These are superb finishing pliers

These are superb finishing pliers When you look at the polish on these pliers you can really see how much detail has gone into this aspect. The linkage and spring are very smooth.

Pros
  • Tools and Housewares
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Probably a bit overpriced

I always try to buy the best tools I can afford. In my experience, durability and reliability are worth the extra cost if you're not prone to tool loss. I just don't see any justification for the extra cost, especially compared to the competition. I sent it back and bought another DM.

Pros
  • Power and Hand Tools
Cons
  • Expensive

Great for my purposes.

I bought two pairs of these tools for weaving small to medium chain mail (as it's just a hobby I usually stick with the 16-20ga range). These pliers are very comfortable to use and fit perfectly in my relatively small hands. Although I didn't really need the dissipative grips, they were cheaper than the regular version back then, so I bought them. I can't speak to their effectiveness in this regard, but these are incredibly good precision pliers that have easily supplanted my old favorites…

Pros
  • Hand Tools
Cons
  • Exchange Availability
