Glad to have purchased these pliers! It is very convenient to "twist" nuts of any size. The quality of Knipex, as always, is on top!

What were you thinking? It slips and is difficult to adjust. Good concept but terrible end product. I had to return it. Don't buy to do the wheel alignment.

I love Polly! They did their best to make her look like a bird. The little easter egg is great. Seriously, having a pair of pliers that can grab a bolt instead of Marr is awesome. I've never liked using channel locks because it would eat away at the bolt. This also works with slightly damaged bolts.

They are amazing. I had two pairs of "Nutbusters" channellocks of similar construction. Like these, these Knipex clamp tight, rusty fasteners to loosen. I have Knipex pliers of different types and sizes, all tools are of excellent quality.

This is a high quality gripper/holder for nuts and bolts from Knipex. Best I've ever used but not cheap. The jaws are smooth so as not to damage the bolt head or nut. Don't worry about slipping smooth sponges. Get them right, even with fairly round bolt heads, and you'll either run out of power or get the bolt out before it slips off.

I love knipex tools. Just not this one. I have a pair of Cobra tongs that I bought for my boss. There are also needle nose pliers, wire cutters, and adjustable smooth jaw pliers. They all work better than any other brand I've ever used. However, these Raptor pliers are difficult for me to use and were removed from my tool bag shortly after purchase. I'm a plumber, maybe this tool is just useless in this area.

Knipex has always made quality tools and these Raptor pliers are no exception. Great tool for truck or tractor. However, I would recommend Knipex pliers instead. Pliers can do everything they can, but they also grab a lot more, faster and more reliably. I have both and there was a clear winner. However, these pliers are still great for small to medium fasteners and are a more economical option. You'll never have enough tools, will you?!

All in all great pliers. They are particularly good for home brewing. Too bad I didn't find them over a decade ago when I started brewing beer. My brewing tool kit includes a multi-channel locking tong and other adjustable tongs, but I plan on just getting a second pair and taking out all the other pairs. They are great for 1/4" to 1/2" NPT fittings and CO2 tank fittings. If I have a second pair I can hold one fitting while screwing in the other and so on.

I am not an experienced mechanic, plumber, electrician or anything else. Just a guy who appreciates quality tools. Before retiring I worked as a machinist for many years and I like to think I have a little understanding of good tools. Knipex is simply the best in the business. Dude, I'm a patriot through and through. And I have to say that these Germans are doing amazing things. High quality steel. Perfect processing. Every fit and function is flawless.
