Great ice pack, mediocre dressing

Excellent for icing, especially on areas that are normally difficult to ice like elbows, knees or feet. The gel ice pack is fantastic, wish it stayed cold a little longer but that would mean it would take longer to chill in the freezer. The real problem is that the bandage that comes with it doesn't hold up. I've been putting ice on my broken leg 2-3 times a day for a little less than two weeks and the velcro is starting to tear and the bandage is stretching. For $15 it's not a bad deal but I'm

Finally there is a solution to keep an ice pack where you need it.

This is a great product especially if you suffer from chronic inflammation or pain that requires the use of ice. I've been using it on my knee most nights for two months. It gets cold enough to be therapeutic, but not cold enough to sting. I love the fact that I don't have to stay away from my legs while my knee gets cold. I can get up to go to the bathroom, have a drink, etc. without removing the ice. The bandage is a typical first-class bandage with Velcro for tight wrapping. After two…

Love this hot/cold pack

I have one that I have had for years! Has lost much of its elasticity but still works. I've been looking for this forever. Covers most of the body. Family members always want to borrow it. Will be ordering one for all family members as an extra Christmas present. The knit bandage is like a premium bandage, stretchy, has a velcro strap that sticks to any part of the bandage. Hand wash, air dry. I have not found the insert to fall out. There is a Velcro tab that holds the insert. However, if you…

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Simplified routine cold therapy

I have knee problems and need a replacement. As I wait and prepare for the surgery, I need to have cold compresses on hand. I kept the gel packs in the freezer, covered them with a kitchen towel and wrapped them in a regular ace. Sometimes I just need it on one knee, sometimes both. I bought two of these new compression bandages and am very happy with them for the same use. Much faster, easier. At one end of the packaging is an open pocket where you put the gel pack that comes with it. I'm…

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • Poorly thought out
