I haven't used these knitting needles yet, so I can't judge the feel of knitting with them. However, I checked each needle to make sure they were all the same size and they were. They feel very smooth with no nicks that could tear the yarn. You have the feeling that it will be a pleasure to work with you.

Whatever they're made of, they're great. It's lightweight, not too slippery and not too rough. They hold the yarn and let it slide. The ends are neither too sharp nor too blunt. These needles are wooden and at least one of them was so rough and broken at the end of the point that it snagged my garden. Then another one broke. The only way I can use them is to check every time I get to one with a split end to turn it the other way. They work, but I'm not impressed.
