Great ratchet screwdriver

I bought this screwdriver to replace the lost one. I like the ratchet effect. This makes it very easy to screw in and out, especially if the screws are long or very tight. There are many different attachments hidden in the handle so this little driver can do almost any job I need it to do. It's like buying a whole set of screwdrivers! It also alternates slightly from right to left.

Pros
  • A lot of positive emotions
Cons
  • A few minuses

Disappointed, returned to Lowes

These screwdrivers were faulty when delivered. I took them back to my local Lowe's store for an exchange. There were no problems on the return, but all the other gearbox dogs rubbed in and did not work smoothly. I decided to buy a large version that looks a little better. I wanted to take two but the store only had one. I have this (original) at home and I love it. Something is definitely wrong with the current design.

Pros
  • Good value for money

Great concept, poor execution

I really liked the Double Drive feature, but it doesn't work as smoothly as I expected. Even if it's a bit annoying sometimes, I could live with it. What worries me is that the magnet is very weak. The bits keep coming loose and staying in the screw and he doesn't even hold the screw. The rear cover for additional nozzles also has a design flaw. If you use a screwdriver, unscrew the cap at the end.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • There are bugs

Saves time and space

I use this guy at work and it's such a pleasure to watch my co-workers screw or unscrew for ages while I use the dual drive and do it twice as fast. Not to mention they have to carry around a set of screwdrivers of all shapes and sizes, and I have 13 sizes in one screwdriver. This can be annoying when you have to keep changing beats because you have to unscrew the bottom each time, but I'll just leave it open in this case.

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • Out of fashion

Great screwdriver for everyday tasks.

Good screwdriver. The ratchet is reliable and although I don't use it often, the dual drive works quite well. The magnet is one of the strongest I've had in a multi-bit screwdriver, so the bits don't always slip out of the head. It's great to have a wide range of attachments at your fingertips. Pros: Strong magnet Dual drive Good build - feels solid Good range of attachments Cons: Cap would be better, awkward to unscrew if you want and sometimes unscrew when you don't.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • No instructions

13-in-1 Cobalt Twin Screwdriver Good, but heavy enough for .

Cobalt 13-in-1 Twin Screwdriver Good, with enough power to turn any bolt or nut. A hard, smooth ratchet screwdriver that fits my hand perfectly. Bits in the handle on a detachable holder. And it has a dial that makes it easier for you to start the propeller or hard-to-reach places. My wife got one for her little tool box at Menards here in town and when I picked it up and tried it on I said woooooa that's mine! NO! Menard and Lowes went crazy, tested Revane and, of course, succeeded. Now mine!

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Amazing screwdriver for computer builders

I bought this screwdriver to complete my computer build toolkit. It's similar to the ratchet that Linus Sebastian uses on the LTT, but is superior in one important way: There's a knurled (textured) portion near the top of the handle that, when held, provides a double-acting ratchet. Kobalt calls it "dual drive" so I'm probably using the wrong term, but basically it spins whichever way you set it, which is amazingly cool. Watch my video if this explanation doesn't quite work for you. My biggestโ€ฆ

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Only available in black

Garbage. Shame on the Original Kobalt Dual Drive #0407197

First released in 2011, the Original Kobalt Dual Drive has been an invaluable and absolutely essential hand tool in my toolbox since I first bought it . To my great dismay, the Transportation Security Administration confiscated it from my carry-on luggage last week on my way to Boston for an out-of-state job. Apparently my electrician's scissors are fine, but a screwdriver without bits is a deadly weapon. Despite being devastated, they literally closed the door of my plane and called my nameโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Requires Socket
