GOOD PRODUCT! - Drawing

This is amazing! High quality and easy to mix and add water. I am very happy with this brand and plan to try more of their products! I have always used Prismacolors and they are the best! Highly recommended for all artists looking for quality watercolor pencils! 😁

Cons

Cracking pigment. fits pens

I bought a set of these pens a few years ago and really liked them. Unfortunately, in the new set I bought, about a third of these pencils have issues with pigment cracking when I sharpen them. Went through red and blue on one project. At this level, they just aren't worth the price anymore. Too bad. The colors are great.

Pros
  • Great for drawing, sketching and coloring
Cons
  • Not the best

Not what I expected

I was expecting these to be watercolor pencils but instead they look more like water soluble. When I made lines on watercolor paper and then tried to smudge them with a wet brush, they didn't work. I tried taking a wet brush straight to the point and rubbing it over it, but very little pigment came off, resulting in a very light stroke.

Pros
  • arts and craft supplies
Cons
  • cord is shorter than other picks

Superb Pens/2 Same Color Set of 36

I chose this brand after trying several individual pens from different watercolor sets. For the price they dissolve very well and do exactly what I want. The only oddity is that I have two identical suits in Set 36. But since it was cobalt blue, which I'm sure I'll be using a lot, I'm not complaining. I'm just wondering what color I'm missing.

Pros
  • Painting Aids
Cons
  • Available in White Only

Glides smoothly but shows lines after adding water

I love the smoothness of these watercolor pencils. However, they still show lines when water is applied to them. translucent. I still think it's a good investment if you can't afford Faber-Castell Albrecht Dürer watercolor pencils. View the edit as follows: toilet pencils perform. I no longer see application lines after adding water. It goes very smoothly and it is a real pleasure to work with these pens. I highly recommend them.

Pros
  • Arts, Crafts & Sewing
Cons
  • Available in black only
