Not suitable. in rough plumbing

Didn't fit. That's why I never buy cholera faucets, it was a customer's faucet, because of cholera, all these faucets are difficult to use. Every time I go to a customer's house and they have cholera, I tell them to take out the trash and buy a Delta.

The product was mislabelled.

Someone put a hot sticker on the cold valve kit. I didn't realize the valve kit was wrong until I installed it. Very frustrating. I could have returned it for a corrected replacement but was concerned I would receive another mislabeled valve kit. BAD!

Great replacement for the old model

After not being able to get the cartridge from the old model (GP77005-RP) I decided to try this one. It fits my K-942 perfectly and is very easy to install. It also feels a lot smoother than the old model. The only thing I had to do was keep the overlay from the old build and reuse it as the new build doesn't seem to make the shell thinner.

Hot valve Koehler arrangement. Meh

The faucet hose was so thin compared to the original that it was kinked after installation, forcing me to disassemble the valve to fix the problem. A complete waste of time; If the hose had been stronger this would not have happened. It also came with a screw under the sink but instead of the standard hex nut which was difficult to get hold of with my sink wrench. According to some other reviews, this valve makes a hissing noise when turned on. Ever since I pulled the cartridge out I see this…

Replacement for old Kohler faucet

I bought this to replace the valve assembly on an 18 year old Kohler Alterna faucet. I agree with other reviewers that trying to remove and replace the cartridge (actually the leaking part) is nearly impossible on an older build - don't even bother. The original design was sturdier and wider at the bottom, but the replacement still matched the original pickguard at the top. In general, it looks like it's well done. The supply hose is shorter. So if you don't have the flex line from the input…

Perfect fit, hard to replace old

Worked very well on the old widely used Coralais faucet from the early 2000's with no overflow. I was afraid it wouldn't fit, but it fit perfectly. Even though Kohler shipped leaky little valves with a lifetime warranty and I placed a vinegar soaked towel over the old valve for over 5 days, it was still impossible to remove the valve from the old assembly. I ended up puncturing the copper tubing attached to it so I had to order this complete aftermarket assembly to replace the whole thing. If…

Buy, install, you will be satisfied.

Bought to replace a valve in a faucet that after 19 years of service had started to drip constantly and the original valve cartridge was so stuck I had no choice but to replace the entire valve assembly. It was the perfect replacement. The faucet cap and handle easily attach to the new valve body. It took a few tries to place the valve bodies and align the handle correctly, but I think it's fine for any replacement like this. The knobs are incredibly smooth now (better than I can ever remember…

Excellent Units: Rough Plumbing

I had leaking faucets in both master bathroom sinks - one hot (1131481) and one cold (1131482). The original valve assemblies were quite rusty, so I couldn't remove the cartridge, which is what most videos and manuals recommend. It seemed easier to just swap out the entire assembly. I first contacted Kohler, the manufacturer of the device. While they were helpful in recommending parts, their delivery was terribly slow. After waiting over a week for their delivery, I ordered from Revain, which…

Too noisy due to design or possibly a defective product

About ten years ago, when we remodeled our bathrooms, we installed two sets of Kohler Forte basin mixers and valves. The hot water valve in our master bathroom, the most commonly used valve, started leaking about six months ago. We lived with this for a while, then I identified this complete assembly and the Kohler GP77005-RP Hot Ceramic Valve Only Cartridge as a possible replacement for our leaking valve. I contacted Kohler to see which one they would recommend and they advised me to buy this…
