I bought these in a pack of 3, very handy for stocking up on some spares for my Kohler 20KW generator to have . There are cheaper alternatives but I don't buy them, I like to use original parts and parts to service my alternator. If the power goes out for a day or two, I want my generator to work well every time. I service my own unit so buying the best filters and oil is still a very economical option. Recommend this.

I've used a Kohler OEM filter on my 2000 Craftsman mower for 17 years and it still works, but this is it latest batch of filters I received worries me. The previous (black) filters had quality construction from durable materials, obviously something has changed. A closer look at the newer (yellow) filters revealed a thin plastic tube with paper end plates and a rubber non-return valve.
