Enhance Brake Performance with Kool Stop Koolstop MTB Disc Brake Pads Review

Brake pads work as advertised. There is no noise when braking and good braking power is provided. I just want the price to be more wallet friendly.

Kool Stop continue to make some of the best brake pads and braking products on the aftermarket. Arrived on time and a perfect match for my replacement brake kit.

The pads didn't stop my Elixir R brakes from howling like a wounded coyote, but they did dampen it a bit. Performance appears to be on par with OEM pads. I'll have to try organic next time. But hey, at least people know I'm coming and they have time to get out of the way!

I replaced the rear brake pad on my new 2012 Specialized Stumpjumper Carbon Comp HT 29er. The factory disc brake pads were good for a few trail rides but wore out unusually quickly.
