There may be better tools for professional use

Pilot Nozzle bent after cutting 1 piece of 3/8 plywood. Luckily they supply you with a second pilot bit. The hole saw itself makes a solid impression. I bought a saw to help me install the mini split. Three inches was the ideal size for plumbing, control cables, and drainage.

Fur. pain to make it work.

This is my first experience with a hole saw. Not sure if this is normal for hole saws, but it was hard to get this thing to work properly. First, if you turn the saw clockwise, it just spins off the drill bit and falls down. The damn thing also slipped out of the drill and had to be tightened several times. I finally managed to get it to work properly. The trick is to use it counterclockwise (at full speed). This way the blade doesn't slip off the drill bit and also the blades are positioned to

Works great with drill press parts and accessories

I bought this 3" bi-metal hole saw to cut holes in the ceiling and half a dozen TORCHSTAR E-Lite ultra-thin 3" LED downlights install series. . The drill bit is built into the mandrel, but the mandrel must be screwed into the base of the hole saw before use. The threads are tight so you will need a wrench or pliers to tighten them.
