Almost a must have but very overpriced

It always hurts to see something that costs maybe a dollar to make and then sells for 17x that. required if you want to mount the VELOP anywhere on the wall. Fit and finish are good. It comes with screws. It works out. The Bad: The profits from it are almost greedy as there is no competition yet. I see a fair price of $4.95 or maybe $5.95. I see it as something to bitch about when I order. There is nothing special about this holder. He works but he won't cook you dinner or wash your car, so…

Pros
  • Don't waste too much time
Cons
  • Negativity is present

xGood price, value for money.

xThis item costs about 1/3 the price of the mount offered by Linksys. Although the Linksys holder appears to be the best holder, its price is not justified by its minor positive features.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Security

Terribly cheap and flimsy

Has a slight flare, for starters and sags immediately under the Velop's weight. I had no doubt it would continue until it was too ridiculous to look at or until it started cracking. To return.

Pros
  • Finally bought it
Cons
  • Not happy with everything

A simple item that I didn't have to create myself

Yes, it's a simple piece of plastic, but I didn't have to design or 3D print it. Including screws and dowels. I just had to drill holes. In the right place. I messed up once. Holds knots and manages cables well. Just want a small drilling template and drill size guide. I got them done quick enough, but if they were on paper it would save me a bit.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Overpriced but works

This is a $2 piece of plastic. Very badly designed. While it fits snugly, you'll need to run cables through it, meaning you'll have to unplug and plug it back in. I cut a notch in mine for maintenance. So that it can be removed without turning everything off. Why they didn't do that from the start is disappointing. Anyone who knows how Velop can get knots to stabilize with specific devices will see what I mean. He's holding it well. But then again, it's just a very expensive piece of plastic…

Pros
  • Slim design
Cons
  • Small change

I am a state-certified electrician.

Excellent router. I bought three as mesh routers. This solved all my WiFi coverage issues. I used to have 2 routers and wifi repeaters but the wifi was still poor. Now only three nodes are connected. There are no bad WiFi zones throughout the house and WiFi speeds are now 16x faster than before. Have recommended it to my clients.

Pros
  • Handsfree
Cons
  • Functionality

I bought these wall stands to elevate my Linksys AC2000 nodes for better signal coverage. They work. BUT a bit flimsy (I used longer screws and even put a bobby pin in it) and still flimsy. They could certainly improve the design. I think the outer rim could be on the corners or the rim itself could be a bit higher to give it some stability. The current design can easily be knocked over by a light hit or a tug from the power supply attached to the node. I ended up attaching velcro even if it…

Pros
  • Great for me

Overpriced: Whole house Wi-Fi systems and mesh

Overpriced - Nothing special about it - it does the job, it's the cheapest piece of plastic I've seen and it's not worth more than a dollar - paying $17 for this is daylight robbery but we condone this practice as there is no competition -

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Makes me angry
