Less good for corner clamps

Was a bit disappointed they are not a bit bigger. It takes a little time to fix them. Maybe if you use them a little more it will get easier.

Fits corner clamps

Really good for holding corners when tightening screws. If you remove them from a project, you will need to fully open the handlebars to reset the "automatic" adjustment. Sometimes it can take some time for them to fully open.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Some cons

Then you may get stuck.: hand tool

The concept is good and if it worked perfectly it would be great. However, I have had many issues with them getting stuck in the closed position and having to force them to release. I haven't given up on them yet, I really like my Automaxx flat skewers. Just take a look.

Pros
  • one year test
Cons
  • boring packaging

Not worth the money.

They don't work the way you think they do. It doesn't automatically bring everything to 90. That's no faster than with a conventional clamp. And they aren't flush with the surface, so they have to be removed from the table to use them. They also move when tightening the countersunk screw.

Quality workmanship and just what I needed

They are solidly built and do what they are supposed to do. Somehow I initially managed to loosen a clamp a bit - I set the clamp force too much and it didn't open wide enough to be used. A quick message to the support team (super responsive!) who told me to unscrew the adjustment screw all the way and open the clamp all the way. Turning the screw at this point required sharp-jawed pliers, which took more force than I thought the screw could handle, but it worked. Now everything is in order.

  • Impressive

  • Negative

Expensive piece of junk

I love Kreg products, but they're junk. difficult to adjust, do not hold 90 hinge. Much easier - not to mention CHEAP - to go back to my old reserve - stop blocking and jamming. I understand Kreg didn't really bless him, but for $$$$$$ he should be able to do SOMETHING for his buck. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME ON THEM

Pros
  • Hand tool
Cons
  • Damaged

THIS IS NOT A KREG PRODUCT!

They arrived after a VERY long wait. Fit and finish not up to Kreg standards. There is no Kreg logo on the handles. They don't adjust well and I can't tighten them as tight as I need to. I reclaimed them but Revane told me it was up to the seller. I NEVER HEAR FEEDBACK FROM THE SELLER. Don't think you're getting a good deal. Spend the extra cash on PROVEN Kreg tools.

Pros
  • Power and hand tools
Cons
  • Obsolete model

Quality workmanship and just what I needed

They are solidly built and do the job. Somehow I initially managed to loosen a clamp a bit - I set the clamp force too much and it didn't open wide enough to be used. A quick message to the support team (super responsive!) who told me to unscrew the adjustment screw all the way and open the clamp all the way. Turning the screw at this point required needle nose pliers which required more force than I thought the screw would hold but it worked. Now everything is in order.

Pros
  • Clamps
Cons
