Kwik Tek AHRE 12 Rebel Tube Kit Review

Took 2 days in a row. The pump worked well and the supplied line is fine so far. We've had teenagers from 13 to 18 years old on this thing. This snorkel is all you need in the water. Everyone who has ridden it loved it. I give it 5 stars because everyone was itching to keep going and enjoyed holding on and not getting knocked down.

We have used this tube twice now. My kids are in their teens and weigh a little (120lbs) so I don't know how he would handle a 200lb adult but he looks well built. The air pump is great. If he fills the hose very quickly and also empties it. The tow line works fine for this single tube, but I probably wouldn't use it for a larger tow (for more than one person). We are very happy with this purchase!

I've had it for about 6 months now. Filmed about 6 times. Towing by a 40hp Mariner on a 15ft scout boat. Towed people from 110 to 180 pounds. As long as it's well inflated it works great. There is some displacement of the bubble in the lid, but I don't think this is unusual. For the price you get a very good snorkel, a decent tow line and a pump (has worked well so far).

At the start of each season we buy 2 new tubes from our local boat shop. This year we thought we'd try and save a few bucks and ordered from Revain. They are quite small compared to the size we usually buy and it's our fault for not checking. The inner sleeve of one tube ripped the first time it was used. The inner core of the other hoses burst on the fourth use. I would advise others not to buy these as they will not hold up to normal hoses behind the boat.

Well built. I use a battery pump to refuel on my jet ski in the sea. My only complaint is that the internal bladder moves slightly under the lid, making it easy to lose the air valve in the lid (and it takes quite a bit of digging to get it back). Also, it would be nice if they included a lighter rope/pipe attachment so you don't have to thread 50ft of rope through the loop.

This pipe is so much fun! I only took it out once and it was a blast. I have fast connection to make hooking up to my jet ski much easier. The jet ski easily pulled the tube out of the water. However, it should be noted that this tube slides through the water very easily. So if you are towing it with a jet ski it can be very easy for the rider to get knocked off the slingshot. This handset came in handy while on vacation. I was able to pull people over 200 pounds with no problem. It was great that a rope and an air pump were included. Don't listen to bad reviews. I bought 2 identical tubes and both hold air. Inflated once and holds pressure for a month. Probably used 10-15 times. They glide through the water much better than a giant pipe. The pump works great. rope is great. The tubes look great. I suspect people having trouble with this are running into user error.
