Five Stars on Outdoor Stairs and Stairs

I actually designed my own folding running board and used Lippert motors and controls. I highly recommend this product.

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • Available in black only

Works as advertised.

Ease of installation depends on the basic configuration of the step assembly. It is best to study the schematics and theory of operation before trying if you are a beginner.

Pros
  • Robust design
Cons
  • Empty

Good for exterior and original

This part is optically and functionally identical to the part I took off. replacing a part only to quickly cause other parts in the assembly to fail.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Negative impression

The product is designed to work. Item not received as advertised by Revain.

The product has been changed. The original 4-pin connector has been removed and replaced with a cable tie. I had to unplug my block and plug it into a new block. If you are reselling a returned item, it must meet the manufacturer's specifications.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Not sure

DIY work. easy to fix. suitable for outside stairs and steps

that worked great. I am sure, like other people researching this topic, on the verge of wondering if this part will fit their old RV. Well after much research. It turns out that the old part number you are looking at has been replaced with a new part number. So look at the cables. it is most likely the same unit. just not advertised as your old part number on older devices. either way it's easy to fix. Now my RV steps work great! and also light.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something

What a savings without the hassle!

It was actually pretty easy to install. This can be done by one person, but an extra pair of hands to hold the motor while you bolt it back on would be helpful. The wiring was identical, everything ran smoothly and works very well. I removed most of the old stuff which took about an hour (the nuts on the carriage bolts so they came off without a struggle and we both reinstalled the new unit at a leisurely pace probably a little over an hour I went and bought the stainless steel hardware instead

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Cargo

Great R&R project - outside stairs and steps

instructions? Who is reading the instructions?! It was so easy to install, I still don't understand what I forgot! Amazing price, great complete replacement part; However, it took a long time to get here. but I'm a spoiled Prime Minister Installed on Passat 7390 2001; no modifications or changes to the wiring required: plug and play! Now I realized that the step was probably dropped by the previous owner while reversing and hit something so I have to loosen and reinstall the main frame to…

Pros
  • nice article
Cons
  • a few little things
