This is a doorknob, I don't know what else to say. I added a keyless deadbolt to my house and the kids have locked the bottom handle multiple times because I bought this. It also color coordinates with other Quikset locks in the home, including the keypad lock.

I like the handles but they tend to break quite easily as they have to be turned the other way to fully close them lock. I've fitted them to doors that barely open (nearest AC, cloakroom) so no big deal but I expect smoother quality from a Quixet but overall a good product, wouldn't recommend for high traffic doors.

They have no cross members to keep the door in place. Because the handle is so low, it's natural for you to grab it and pull it up slightly when you open the door. Because the only thing holding the handle are two screws that loosen over time and the handle slips. Great door knob but wish it had clips to hold the door knob in one place.

Disappointed that a well known brand like kwikset is selling a lock that doesn't look strong and durable. Ordered 5, 1 didn't fit. The product is lightweight and doesn't feel like it will last very long. Unbranded brands seem to be more durable. I hope I'm wrong but definitely not what I expect from a company like kwikset for the price I paid.

The design of the Kwikset Pass Grip Set is ridiculously bad and the end result is extremely difficult to install. As a professional repairer, I have installed literally a thousand pen sets over the years and avoid this brand of pen sets like the plague. Kwikset have recently released new electronic lock kits and they are top notch. I thought they updated their handles as well, but it's a normal PIA. Buy Schlage for a set of pens. They are easy to install.
