Much better than the original equipment. Buy them if you can.

I took a chance and I'm glad I did. The 2015 Elantra handles better than new once the rear shocks are installed. The ride is smooth. Take corners without leaning the car to the outside of the corner. The price from this seller was the best price I could find. Except for a website they were supposed to deliver in 8 weeks, about ten bucks less for the shock.

  • Free for educational purposes

  • Expensive

Better than I was hoping, just buy them!

After reading some reviews and also doing a lot of research online I decided to buy these for the back of my 2014 Hyundai Elantra. These model cars suffer from severe rear bounce at highway speeds after hitting a bump, they fit perfectly and make corners much tighter and now the rear doesn't bounce at all when hitting a bump. I made it really hard to corner after installing her and I was very impressed with her response.

Strong and Stable Best Replacement Parts

These KYB gas-a-just gas struts are just what you need! I bought a pair for my 2015 Hyundai Elantra SE which currently has 104,000 miles on it. I noticed the difference immediately when I went for a test ride after installing it! Before I installed those shocks, the rear suspension felt like it would flex over bumps, which didn't seem too bad. After installing them, the ride was smoother, even over speed bumps and rough roads. I could tell the rear of my car was stiffer. I'm really consideringโ€ฆ

My Hyundai Elantra rear shock absorbers failed after only 35 km

My Hyundai Elantra rear shock absorbers failed after only 35,000 miles. Severe dents on my tires but luckily they have yet to be replaced. Very easy to replace but you have to be very careful when screwing the top screw back on. The mother is caged but can move so it's very easy to cross (and not really easy to tell if she's walking right or not). I threaded a side and spent about 2 hours trying to find a 10x1.25 tap (found at Rural King of all places. So if you need a tap and there is a Ruralโ€ฆ

Easy install 30 to 45 minutes if you have

Installed two KYB #554384 Gas-A-Just shocks on a 2015 Kia Forte5 SX with 54,000 miles. Same rear suspension as Hyundai Elantra and Veloster. BIG improvement in drivability: much less jumping and clattering backwards over bumps, less side-stepping, quieter on the inside. Too bad I didn't install them 30,000 km ago. These shocks are a huge improvement over stock and a very affordable upgrade at ANY mileage. A simple installation takes 30 to 45 minutes if you have the following: a jack, jackโ€ฆ

My Elantra runs even better than new

I have a 2014 Hyundai Elantra Limited with a 1.8 liter engine. I now have 25,090 miles. I noticed that at about 24,000 miles the rear suspension broke down due to bumps and bumps in the road. Especially when entering the highway at the bend at the exit. Stumbled on a bump, a fishtail. I've read about the issue with other Elantra owners. Apparently everyone had the same problem. So I decided to buy these KYBs. The difference is phenomenal! My Elantra drives even better than when it was new. Iโ€ฆ
