fits best in shocks

Replaced the old shocks on the 2004 Dodge Dakota SXT, new shocks ride better, not stiff at all, Kyb branded front and rear.

Pros
  • Heavy Duty Construction
Cons
  • Quick Guide

Major upgrade - shocks, struts and suspension

If these had been installed by my mechanic the ride quality would definitely have improved over the very old OEM shocks I previously had on my truck. I hope they enjoy it for a while.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Poorly thought out

High gas shock absorber is the best among shock absorbers

Fairly easy to install. The kit does not include nuts and bolts, so be careful when removing the old ones. I broke one and had to replace it. All in all it was a great purchase! Car: Dodge Durango 2000 SLT

Pros
  • Ideal for outdoor activities
Cons
  • I will add later

Big shocks. You are on 04 dakota 4

Strong hits. They made a big difference in the 04 Dakota 4.7 in terms of handling and overall ride comfort/performance. I can drive about 10 km/h faster than before. would recommend

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Protection

Better than OEM, best on shocks, struts and suspension

Slightly stiffer than OEM shocks but I think the handling is much better than OEM. They can take corners a little faster, and while they're stiffer, you don't feel every bump in the road. You go absolutely straight. The only time you'll feel anything is when you're going through a decent bump or pothole.

Pros
  • Best in niche
Cons
  • Not bad but...

KG5322 FOR 2004 DODGE DAKOTA REAR

Very happy with this item. The "buoyancy" is gone, the truck drives and drives like new again. Remarkably, both cornering and comfort have improved. At first I thought the road I was on had been repaved, but when I checked the imperfections were still there. I just didn't feel them anymore.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Band

KYB is still the BEST bang for the buck!

A quick review of the KYB line as the Dodge Durango/Dakota has all three to choose from: Red: like a truck, for big tires, for towing RV's etc - I didn't buy them . Silver: Gas-a-Just street performance, handling, and a smooth ride given the handling advantage. Black: OEM base replacement - I didn't buy them. KYB Silver Gas-a-Just wowed me AGAIN! My 2003 Dodge Durango R/T AWD 5.9L drives better than new! Steering is crisper, braking is better and cornering has never been better. Due to the OEMโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Cool product
Cons
  • Something different
