🔧 Enhanced Performance Gas Shock - KYB KG5494 Gas-a-Just Review

After I put it to the test on my automotive, I felt let down by these shocks. The suspension felt too stiff and didn't handle bumps well. The only good thing here is that the shocks are easy to install. The cons outweigh the pros.

For the 91 Previa, super easy setup, ride is a complaint. The previous one was a Gabriel Ultra which drove nice and firm but only lasted 20,000 miles. I hope these KYBs last longer.

I understand that most have been very happy with them for their Toyota Previa. However, I put them on and wow: nothing seems to dampen. Do not give. They really raised the rear. Now when driving, the suspension seems to be firmly welded. There's no concession: when you hit a bump, you'll feel every part of it. I had to replace these things. It was the same whether loaded from behind or unloaded. I had to switch to a different brand of shock absorbers. I still have them and am trying to test…
