Cheap Plastic Bearing

This would be a good set were it not for the cheap plastic bearings that come with the mount. Others have plastic bearings but are better finished.

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Expensive

Not the best replacement for the Honda Odyssey.

Not OEM quality. Less than a month after installation, the bearings started making noise. Significantly smaller than the original bearings. Installed on a 2010 Honda Odyssey.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Reliability

Bearing replaced and bad plastic bearing found broken

Okay I think. The plastic bearing broke after a year. As I turned, I heard a loud bang. Replaced the prop and found a bad plastic bearing, cracked. I believe they no longer use ball bearings. Could be an installation issue - be careful when putting these things together. I replaced it with the same mount so we'll see.

Pros
  • Easy install
Cons
  • Doubtful

Buy Honda OEM! It's terrible!

My 2005 Odyssey has 255,000 miles on original carriers. I replaced them with KYB racks, supports and dusters. The struts are good, but these bearings make a lot of noise when turning after a few months of use. When turning, the spring pops, especially in the parking lot. Save yourself the effort for rework and OEMs!

Pros
  • Robust construction
Cons
  • Security

These brackets are a great replacement whenever you have a rack or .

These rods make a great replacement if you are replacing a rod or the rod has failed. The only thing I would have liked differently would be if the camp was a bit bigger. They are 2 times smaller, but they cope with the task. Overall they look the same as the OEM part.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Zero

Small dry bearings make the suspension weak and noisy. Don't waste time here

"Looks good" and is well made, but many people say the little plastic bearings are poorly designed. OEM bearings are also plastic, but almost twice the size and much more durable. 2 days after these brackets were installed, there was a strong hit from the side of the bracket on the driver's side. These KYB bearings were small and had ZERO grease in the bearings (I opened them up and made sure they were dry). Luckily I didn't throw away my 12 year old OEM mount with big bearings. I cleaned them,

Pros
  • Excellent Overall
Cons
  • Band
