Enhance Steering Stability with KYB SS10309 Steering Stabilizer Review

Much smaller and less durable than the original Ford Excursion 4x4 part. Started leaking after a few months. I replaced it with a Pro Comp stabilizer.

Very easy install on my 4WD f350, took 10 minutes with the right tools and helped tighten my steering a bit. Totally less than $30 with 1 day shipping!

Smaller diameter than OEM helped but didn't completely fix the problem but worth the price you pay. Pretty easy installation with an impact wrench.

Worked great on my 250 F250 Super Duty. I want this to work with the truck's OEM gear, but you have to replace a bolt closer to the center of the truck to install it. Once the steering is nice and again.

The KYB steering stabilizer directly replaced the original unit on my F-250 Powerstroke. The only difference is the addition of a plastic spacer needed for clearance as the KYB body tube is slightly longer. It works as well or slightly better than the stock unit which was just starting to leak before I replaced it.

Works and price is right but mine didn't include the shorter metal sleeve which fits into the bracket as a buffer between the rubber sleeve and the bolt although it is in the picture. As a result, I had to wash the part to keep it from rocking and clicking on the passenger side when driving over rough roads.

The shock absorbers are not to blame. When you order it they don't tell you the lengthening or the min length and max length. He didn't say it would fit the F53, so that was my fault: $40 for 0ne. The shock only lengthened 9 inches, and I needed a 13-inch shock. My tie rod moves more than 13 inches from side to side. Had there been more information in the specs I probably wouldn't have ordered it.
