Good replacement for bearings. For some time.

Good replacement for stock but only lasted 9 months before leaking. Raven replaced him. The new one is different and is made in China, not Mexico.

Pros
  • Easy to install
Cons
  • Only available in white

Great for highway use!

Inexpensive part but 6 months after fitting I am considering an upgrade. Not because something went wrong with the one I bought, but because I'm not sure how well it will hold up on the track. I would recommend this to those who need a steering stabilizer but only use their settings for road driving.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Fits

If you have a Wrangler.

If you own a Wrangler, you probably want to change the steering damper every time you change the oil. When mine failed the first time, I nearly fell! And I was only going about 35 miles an hour. This dampener works and is affordable. I haven't had any issues and plan on keeping one or two on hand just in case.

Pros
  • One-year trial
Cons
  • Out of style

Suitable for Jeep Wrangler!

Revane says this item won't fit my 2007 Jeep Wrangler X 2 Door, but it does! Other auto parts stores, AutoZone and O'Reilly, claim it will fit Jeep Wrangler models. No 5 stars due to missing dust cover. But hopefully this won't affect the longevity of his work. I don't ride 4 wheels so that should be enough for street use only. Also, the instructions that came with it called for moving the tie rod mounting bracket 3/4" toward the passenger side by loosening the U-bolts and then tightening them…

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Hard to say

You don't have to spend more!

Easy replacement, took about 20 minutes on the go using a 13mm socket and 18mm spanner. Steering feels tight again, with less fatigue on rough roads. I don't see why I should spend more on stabilizer dampers when I think they do their job perfectly.

Pros
  • Designed to restore driveability and performance to Jeep vehicles
Cons
  • No performance
