So. I have 8.0mm jegs cables on my SBC. Due to the design of the connector I have both straight wires and wires with a 90 degree connector. Installation was easy and I had none of the issues discussed previously. There was no need to remove the metal ring or undo the stitching. Great product looks like good quality and looks good. I removed the stitching and the metal ring. Then everything went well. I added sleeves to all 8 wire boots. The sleeves were long, so the cables were hidden far behind the connectors. I would buy again.

Perfect, looks new after 400 miles. I even spilled oil on one and was worried what it would be like, they were fine and I don't see any oil stains or burns. I used needle nose pliers to loosen the rings a bit, inserted the wires, used pliers to press the rings back closed (squeeze gently) to keep them snug on the wires (boots).
