Lacis-Verna Beadle Needle With Crook. For stringing beads when bead knitting with fine yarns. A tempered steel needle with a blunt point and hook on one end and a curve on the other to allow it to be used with a bead spinner. Includes finger crook for control of direction of the hook. For #8/0 beads with lace weight yarn and #11/0 beads with cobweb weight yarns.

Just a suggestion.

Much easier than dental floss etc. Just one suggestion, use a beading/jewelry clip (instead of the slide stop provided) for quicker access/safer beads. Clips are like very small plastic clothespins with a spring separating the open/close pressure point.

Odd angle, very awkward to hold

I use beads all the time for knitting and have them I have many used a variety of needles including tiny crochet hooks, beading thread and straight Lacis beads. That crooked beadle needle is just weird. The impostor is at a strange angle. Instead of the hook being on top of the needle when you hold it in the neutral position (i.e. in your hand with the extra bead down), the hook is actually on the side. Therefore, you must hold the needle straight out of the way for each bead stitch. And when…
