Efficient Converter for Precise Measurements

Based on my experience, this step down converter is a reliable tool that provides accurate readings without any lag time. The adjustable settings make it easy to use for various applications. The compact design and sturdy construction is a major advantage. However, a user manual in the package would be helpful.

Pros
  • Precise measurements, adjustable settings, sturdy construction.
Cons
  • User manual not included.

Neat constant current LED driver

I was looking for a compact constant current LED driver and this one worked for me. This driver is based on the PowTech PT4115 LED driver IC. Note that the potentiometer is connected to the chip's DIM pin and not to the current sense circuitry. If you want to use it with an Arduino or other microcontroller via the PWM pin, it will overwrite any current settings set with the potentiometer. If you want to use PWM and need a current setting other than 900mA, you'll need to replace the RCS with a…

Pros
  • Test, measure and inspect
Cons
  • Ugly packaging
