Includes 700+ activities across a library of more than 25 books (sold separately), which includes two learn to read book sets. Grow-with-me stylus is comfortable for kids of all ages and promotes proper writing grip. A computer with an Internet connection is required to download books onto the LeapStart system. I prefer the OLD version

My son loves his Jumpstart learning system. I think this is a very good educational toy, so I bought him almost all the books for it. When we saw this new 3D version, I immediately bought it for him. And bought some 3D books. The installation and download process is the same as the previous version. Not too difficult for us. But after downloading 3D books, I find that 3D books actually take up more storage space (2 times more). And a maximum of only about 5 books. What a big disappointment for…

Regret to buy in Learning & Education

I really wish I could rate this product better because my son really likes it. We had no trouble connecting to the computer and downloading the book. But books, why can't I rate this better. I gave this to my son for Christmas and a book to go with it. He ended up really liking it so I thought it would be great to get more books. Besides, I can't find any. This is a robbery.: Education and training

To be honest, this product is a huge plagiarism. The product itself comes with less than 1GB of space for books. You can hardly find any flash drive with less than 8GB capacity in the market today, just for your reference. It literally doesn't even have room to store all the books by age, even if you want to buy the overpriced books that are needed. Not enough storage space for more than 11 books!

I'm tech savvy so I wasn't put off by other reviewers' complaints that downloading books onto the device was painful. It wasn't that difficult if you know how to download software or have recorded your own music on an MP3 player before. Much prettier and easier to use than previous models - a hit but not without its flaws

Edit: I finally gave this to my 3 year old and he really likes it. I'm surprised he's sitting and playing with it so patiently. It took him a while to figure out why only some of the touch points caused an image to appear on the screen, but then he took it as a game to try and find them (but now he's obsessed with why he played Rubble in Paw sees).
