This is NOT as described. There's no excuse for calling this leather "medium". Bought to make scabbards. I haven't measured the thickness but it's probably 1mm. It wouldn't be safe to carry a fixed knife made of leather that thin. There were also marks on the leather that showed up when trying to work and then dye it. I see that others had a similar purpose for this product, maybe my experience will be helpful. One of my feet has a C width and the other an A, so I buy a C for a wider foot and reduce the effective shoe width for an "A" foot with an insole. Depending on the last, the commercial insoles I tried were sometimes too thick, making the shoe feel too tight.
