Excellent purchase. the best power tools and hand tools

I got them in the mail yesterday and decided to sharpen all my knives and tools that I had. The first thing I tried was my very sharp hunting knife. After finishing the edge of the blade with green and then red compound, the blade is much sharper, allowing me to shave with it, and it's closer than a razor. The links are also very hard so I can say they will last a long time. However, I will be buying a second set as a backup in a few weeks. I am very happy with my purchase.

I like the versatile set

Good for sharpening pocket knives. I love the variety of tools, it's good for people like me who have never tried this style of sharpening and aren't sure what grit they want. So far I've settled on my fine grit whetstone, then switched to paracord with some green compound, then paracord with red, then regular paracord. Still working on my technique, can't get sharp enough to shave my face with a self-sharpening blade, but arm hair can be shaved like mowing grass where arm hair (just a fine…

A little too hard good for hand tools

I'm sure I'll be criticized for my next comments but I used these polishes on my stop skin. Green on the soft part and white on the rough part. Now it is quite difficult to rub these connections. I understand that you can either heat the compound on the stovetop before applying and that it doesn't need to be applied to the entire line as there will be some spreading during blade spin, but still. It is quite difficult. As for the results, I'm not particularly impressed so far. I have never…
