With it you can use Tesla chargers!

I used this adapter for the first time today, May 12, 2021 at a hotel in Page, Arizona that was equipped with two Tesla chargers to charge my 2020 Chevy Bolt. It worked great. I first connected the Tesla charger to the adapter and then connected the J-1772 end to the Bolt. Loading started within seconds. I only charged for about 40 minutes, enough to ensure I can get from Kanab, Utah via Page, Arizona, over 200 miles with a significant increase in elevation to Flagstaff, Arizona. I think I…

Works flawlessly on Chevy Spark EV and Chevy Volt

Does exactly what I need. There is a Tesla HPWC where I work and I need an adapter so I can charge it at work and not have to carry the OE EVSE in the car. So I can keep it at home and take the adapter to work to charge my car. Works perfectly on my 2016 Chevy Spark EV. The adapter itself is strong and feels comfortable. Works great on a 2020 Chevy Bolt.

Since I have a Tesla wall outlet (100 amp circuit) for my model in my garage, SI didn't want to add an extra box for EVs from other manufacturers. When I found out about these adapters I was thrilled as I no longer had to spend money on an electrician. When I received the adapter it had a nice appearance and looked like a quality product. This adapter destroyed my Tesla charger and disabled my Tesla charger on the go leaving me stranded.

I used this adapter with my $500 Tesla UMC and it obviously ruined it. Tesla UMC used to work fine and after using this adapter my Tesla charger stopped working. I gave this adapter another try and used it on the go to charge overnight at a hotel while driving 450 miles. Although the car briefly started charging, I woke up with a dead battery - my car wouldn't charge! It looks like this adapter output the charger. Works fine, follow the instructions!

This device has proven itself but is difficult to test and validate. My first unit didn't work, but the replacement unit came quickly and worked perfectly with my 2016 VW e-Golf. Additional time and steps are required for the adapter to work with the e-Golf: 1) Deactivate any pending charging plans in your vehicle's e-Manager. Great product, works as advertised!

About three weeks have passed. I love this thing so far. I have a Chevy Volt and the house we are filming had a Tesla wall charger installed. Plugged it into the Tesla outlet, plugged it into the car, bam. Charging power level 2. Advantages: - Robust construction.
