Great time saver when parking on the street in a crowded city

I am very happy with this reversing camera. It is nice that there is no need to stretch the wires through the entire machine. The screen flickers from time to time, but serves its purpose well. Night vision is too bright but I'm sure you can adjust the contrast. I was going to connect it to the fuse box but it's actually better for me to just use the 12v car adapter and use it when needed as I only use it for easier parallel parking. I only turned it on when reversing and almost went too far…

Works well at a great price

At $60 it was a great deal. Wireless works well and visibility is more than adequate. Tips/Comments. Follow the antenna installation instructions. Reposition it if necessary to get a clear video (see photo). The same applies to the receiving antenna. I modified the mount to fit on the left side - perfect for switching between screen and mirror - use both. The photo is a close-up, in fact it's small and doesn't obscure the windshield at all. Practice a little to get to know the lines relative to

Comfortable and decent quality

Disclaimer: This item was given to me in exchange for a review. The camera should only be used in vehicles of a certain length, around 20 feet I think. I decided to try it in a 4 person cabin with a double bed and an 8ft bed. I was happy with the results. I haven't tested the camera for a long time, but the first result can be seen in the video. I can easily get stuck on the ball hitch. There was a flickering on the video that caught my eye. I don't know if it was because I was using it on a…

Installation on a 2003 Honda Civic is easy and works like a charm

We had a backup camera on our minivan and it makes our lives so much safer I nearly ran over an elderly man, At Als When I parked my Civic at church last weekend, I immediately rushed to get a backup camera for this 2003 Civic as well. I needed a wireless and this kit looks handy to install with the wireless transmitters included, is very inexpensive and came in just a few days. Installation on the Honda Civic was trivial. The camera attaches to the number plate and the power cable enters the…

Reliable backup camera solution, as simple as it gets

The first thing I would like to point out about this product is that if you expect it to be as neat and integrated as a factory installed one system, you will be disappointed. No aftermarket system will look or work like this. However, this product comes pretty close. Setting up the view screen is easy. It comes with a suction cup mount that sticks to any largely flat surface in the car, as well as some sort of adapter plate that 'docks' the bottom of the screen to it. The power supply of the…

  • Not the best

This is an updated account of my experience after installing this wireless rear view camera on a 2010 Audi A4. I had a hard time identifying the cables at first. which supply the reversing lights of the Audi sedan. Through trial and error it turned out that the wires to the brake lights and reverse lights are 4 wires. I was able to find this out by examining the lighting unit and the 4 wire connector. At first I had doubts that the radio signal from the camera on the license plate would reach…

Easy Installation

Easy Installation, All Parts Included. I chose the wireless camera because I needed to install gear on a large Yukon Denali SUV. I didn't want to launch a wired camera at such a distance. The display will be more than 12 feet from the camera antenna, which is beyond their recommendations. Thought I'd give it a try anyway since the reviews said it would work. I wanted to explore all aspects of the kit before installing it. Since I had a cigarette lighter next to the reversing lights, I used a…

I installed this on a Honda Pilot SUV. My wife is the main driver and we have a 4 year old who loves to walk everywhere. So it's time to install a backup camera on this old SUV. Installation was the easiest I've ever done and I've installed several different backup cameras. Camera wiring can be either SUPER easy or basic depending on the make and model of your car. My reversing lights were easily accessible via the access panel, also my reversing lights are not on the brake light box but on the

It serves its purpose: Car Safety

Although rear view cameras are standard equipment on most new and recent cars, my family still drives a 1998 Honda Accord. One family member had multiple back and neck surgeries which made it difficult and painful to turn the head very far, which was obviously a problem when reversing. I've looked at several cameras and I think this one has the best value for money. The kit includes a booklet that briefly explains how to install and use the camera and monitor. It includes a pair of cables and a
