If the photos in the description were taken at such an angle that you could actually see what the pins look like I would never have bought these looms. They are made in the same way as the Boye brand, where the needle point is like a hook on a crochet hook. If you're working with 4 weight yarn, you think you've lost the thread, but it gets caught on the needle.
