There were problems with the changeover from the start. Sometimes I had to toggle a few times to turn it on or go to full brightness. Then, of course, things went wrong immediately after the return period had expired. Cheap light, switch removed, and it's black inside. I think it got wet while I was washing the RV and it shorted out.

They were very easy to fit onto our converted cargo trailer. In fact, they're so bright we had to wear orange caps to be easy on the eyes. They do it absolutely perfectly. It still illuminates the ground well and doesn't blind us. We have clear covers in the closet in case we need extra light.

Light flashes are easy to attach. The light is pleasant and bright. The light is well built, except for the lid I applied silicone glue as the lid comes off easily. The profile was slightly different so I had to do some cleaning up to remove the old light profile. I am converting my RV to all LEDs in hopes of extending the life of my camping battery without electrical connections.

It didn't work a year and a half after purchase. We live in the Pacific Northwest so maybe it was too humid for that. I recommend buying a light with a spare bulb and using a good quality LED light bulb with it. At least the bulb can be replaced if it burns out, but it will likely last a lot longer than the LED board installed in this light. I plan to avoid those LED lights inside and out; better stick to the pears.

easy to install but the holes don't match the previous light. never been a fan of extra holes. The plastic rim is pretty cheap so I can't comment on how durable it is. My previous flashlight had a metal back, not plastic. it is, as they say, BRIGHT. so much so that I think the clear lens might be distracting when showing like someone's camping. The good thing is that it comes with an amber lens. The plastic is very bright white. whiter than my white fiberglass.

Will be returning this item. This light doesn't work unless you flick the switch on and off a few times - it's incredibly cheap and not worth the price. Whoever designed it doesn't know that you CANNOT use miniature screws to screw it into the side of the RV, you need large #8 or #10 self-tapping stainless steel screws. Such a small screw won't fit. It became a big mess. Also does not come with a weatherproof gasket and the bolt pattern is NOT the same as normal RV patterns.
