All the great reviews have convinced me to spend the money on a homemade ice cream maker. But I haven't had any luck with this product. The first made 2 large portions of ice cream. On the 3rd try it started to squeak and stopped before the mixture started to thicken. Revain and their excellent return policy enabled me to find a new replacement within 2 days. But to my surprise, this one doesn't freeze at all. It's been running for over an hour and a half and nothing. So disappointed! I think…

Great ice cream

Over the years we've been fortunate enough to eat incredible ice cream. Will Rights in Dallas. Giardelli Square in California. At Water Tower Place in Chicago. The original Kaiser's in Oklahoma City. The ice from this machine is equal to this ice. We also love that we can make ice cream using the highest quality ingredients and no thickeners. Our favorite ice cream recipe for a batch: 3 half cups of organic ice cream, 1 cup minus 2 tons of organic cane sugar, 1 tablespoon of organic vanilla…

Great ice machine!

I've been making ice cream with my Cuisinart Ice 100 for 5 years and I'm very happy with the result. After reading many reviews about Lello, I decided to switch. I used a vacation trip to the United States to buy Lello because I live in Brazil and it's not available here. It was quite difficult getting the ice cream maker to the airport, sending it, paying the import tax to enter Brazil, but after making several different recipes in Lello I can say. It was worth every effort and penny spent…

Ice Cream Maker in Ice Machines

I have three automatic ice machines that freeze ice cream in the machine itself. Two by Cuisinart and this one by Musso Lussino. Musso will ask you to clean the ice out of the machine and it will take a little longer as the "BOWL" is embedded in the top of the machine. The Cuisinart has a bowl and nozzles that slide out and can be washed in the sink. This machine is great and the noise isn't too bad considering it does all the work itself. i really like it However, when it first arrived and I…

The real deal: ice cream makers

I have had the pleasure of using this machine over the past 6 weeks and have made about 7 batches of ice cream/icecream. This car is a damn fine machine. It works exactly as described and exceeds all my expectations. This block gets very cold and does so quickly. It runs very quietly and the build quality is amazing. All parts except for the agitator made of stainless steel. The built-in bowl is a professional solution. I was looking at a Breville unit with a detachable bowl, but settled on the

Expensive but worth it. Exceeded my expectations!

I don't normally write reviews but feel compelled to intervene as I personally read ALL the reviews on this product before committing to this expensive ice cream maker. Personal disclaimer - this is my very first ice cream maker. I have no experience with homemade ice cream and have never owned an ice cream maker. I also don't have any friends who make homemade ice cream. I've had this machine for a few weeks and have made countless batches of ice cream. I'll be brief: -1. Great car! Well built

Lello Lusso Mussino Review My Experience: I make about 200 pints of artisan ice cream/ice cream a year. So, ice cream you can buy at expensive ice cream shops for $9-10 a pint. I've had a Cusinart DeLonghi GM6000 canister (for 4 years), tried the Cuisinart ICE-100 1 time (then returned it) and tried a Breville ice sample in the store. If you want to make ice cream, 3 factors are important: 1. The quality of the ice cream and/or ice cream. Incidentally, gelato may contain some other ingredients…
