After I put it to the test, I was extremely disappointed with the Lenox Tools Industrial and Scientific Drill Bit. The bit was unable to cut through the metal surface effectively, making it almost impossible to drill a precise hole. The only positive thing to mention is that the bit did not break easily compared to other cheaper alternatives. However, this sole benefit is certainly outweighed by the poor performance, making it an overpriced and ineffective product.
Pros
High-quality construction and durable design
Cons
Not suitable for small or intricate cuts due to its size
Looks good but it freezes every time I try to poke a few holes in the stump. I ended up having to use a smaller drill bit and move it around to make the holes bigger. The problem was not in the drill bit (new) and not in the type of wood.
I wanted to help a friend who needed to replace part of the deck for his dock. We wanted to drill some stakes so we could insert the studs. Put this in my portable drill (I stand in a river to do this job) and watch this drill do its "work". Did the job very quickly. Good product.
