I bought this machine specifically to cut aluminum. It won't cut aluminum and is inferior to a regular cheap cut-off wheel. Diamond (if any) is clogged in 5 seconds. It didn't cut an inch through, in fact it never cut through a .10 thick soft aluminum wall. Very disappointed.

I use this wheel on my Milwaukee 12v handheld cutter This wheel cuts 1/2" to 1" pipe easily and efficiently. I really like what this does to extend the use of the Milwaukee tool. Really strong and durable, will last a long time in use. On softer materials, copper, plastic, etc. work very well.

Bought this diamond blade for cutting sheet metal on some body work. But I had to cut the outer race of a failed roller bearing. The cutter was already in the cutting tool so I gave it a try despite reviews saying this wheel couldn't cut itself out of a wet paper bag. I don't know if my technique is better, but this wheel cuts through the hardened races like butter. Lenox hole saws and utility knife blades have always stood the test of time. This blade is no exception.

This separator wheel will last a very long time. Have used this on mild steel sheet, rebar, cutting old welds and some aluminum. The cuts are a little wider than with a normal cutting disc, but still last longer. Dust formation has also been significantly reduced. The blade is not damaged yet and should last a long time. I installed it on my Dewalt cut-off tool. While turning it by hand, I immediately noticed the disk was wobbly/bent. Thought user error , but it was still wobbly. Then I noticed that the axle hole has a gold ring inside making the axle hole 1/4" not 3/8" (measured). Without the ring it would be 3/8".
