Lenox Tools 23932 Multi Tool Driver Tools & Equipment Review

Lenox 9 in 1 has been my choice for many years. Most often they are replaced because they fall off the wall, borrow a lot and do not return. Unfortunately the last few pieces I bought kept falling out, I thought it was a bad run. This was my last attempt to replace my favorite screwdriver. After 2 hours the nozzle fell out leaving me with an expensive screwdriver.

You might think it would be difficult to invent a screwdriver. They've been around for thousands of years. But it's the best I've ever seen. My drawers are full of screwdrivers, screwdrivers and bits, but this little gem can replace about 98% of the ones I use frequently. The sockets are twice as long as on heavy impact wrenches. The handle feels comfortable and has a large weight. Reversing and changing beats is easy. There is little play in the landing. The most impressive design.

I originally bought one of these on sale at Menards and was delighted. The bits were tight and never fell out. I damaged a Phillips 1/4 head through abuse and it was cheaper to buy a brand new 9-in-1 bit than a bit. Bought a second one from Amazon and even after a week it broke without abuse. I used to only carry Klein 5in1 and 10in1. I also used Klein Heavy Duty 11in1. The reason for the switch is that Lenox bits are more durable than Klein versions. I had Fastners so tight I had to use a channel lock to remove them. I know 5 in 1 isn't the best tool for things like this, but if you don't have anything handy, here's what happens. Multi-bit screwdrivers are very handy, but most of the other models I've used (classic and perfect) have very rough bits and very thin walls. They'll probably only last a couple of weeks before you're left with a pile of chipped wrenches and broken bit heads. However, the thing is really solid.
