Not like it used to be

Lenox 9 in 1 has been my choice for many years. Most often they are replaced because they fall off the wall, borrow a lot and do not return. Unfortunately the last few pieces I bought kept falling out, I thought it was a bad run. This was my last attempt to replace my favorite screwdriver. After 2 hours the nozzle fell out leaving me with an expensive screwdriver.

Impressive design. for hand tools

You might think it would be difficult to invent a screwdriver. They've been around for thousands of years. But it's the best I've ever seen. My drawers are full of screwdrivers, screwdrivers and bits, but this little gem can replace about 98% of the ones I use frequently. The sockets are twice as long as on heavy impact wrenches. The handle feels comfortable and has a large weight. Reversing and changing beats is easy. There is little play in the landing. The most impressive design.

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast

  • Almost everything ok

Put me down when I needed it most.

I originally bought one of these on sale at Menards and was delighted. The bits were tight and never fell out. I damaged a Phillips 1/4 head through abuse and it was cheaper to buy a brand new 9-in-1 bit than a bit. Bought a second one from Amazon and even after a week it broke without abuse. I was going to pull it out of my pocket and the cocking ball holding the main stock fell out, now the handle won't hold. 3 stars because I sent the first one through hell and it only let me down due to…

My favorite multi-bit screwdriver

I used to only carry Klein 5in1 and 10in1. I also used Klein Heavy Duty 11in1. The reason for the switch is that Lenox bits are more durable than Klein versions. I had Fastners so tight I had to use a channel lock to remove them. I know 5 in 1 isn't the best tool for things like this, but if you don't have anything handy, here's what happens. I deformed the shanks of Klein's tools. new retail every 6 months. I had no problems with this Lenox with similar use. After about 4 years of use this…

the best available.

Multi-bit screwdrivers are very handy, but most of the other models I've used (classic and perfect) have very rough bits and very thin walls. They'll probably only last a couple of weeks before you're left with a pile of chipped wrenches and broken bit heads. However, the thing is really solid. I've been using it every day for a year and it still works. I'm not too careful with this tool either, I've been known to use these things in all ways you shouldn't (punch, beep, etc) and mine still…

It's like having an old friend come back to you!

Every time I lose one of these or lose and buy another, it's like an old friend comes back! one day Very high quality, the weight in the hands inspires confidence. Not too heavy and very well balanced. Neither the attachments nor the main switch are too difficult to remove and replace, even if the ball-bearing spring mounts become hard from heavy use. It really is perfect for the do-it-yourselfer or professional around the house as it has the 2 most common crosses, straight/flat and…

  • I'm struggling

Union Insidewireman Student Review. First, I usually try not to buy Chinese-made instruments. The Lenox drills and saws I own are made in the USA. When this tool arrived and said "Made in China" on the box, I was disappointed that I bought it. Having said that, I've been using the tool for three weeks and I'm already noticing the bits wearing out prematurely, which is what I would expect from a branded professional tool. I assembled 370 2x4 lights that had a 1/4 screw holding the cap to the…

I've been using these mods for over 10 years. 9 in 1 to rule them all!

When I started my career I worked at a manufacturing facility in Missouri and was in maintenance. We have worked with low and high voltage cranes, plasma cutters, punch presses, welding machines, robots, band saws, painting booths and lines, CNC machines, servos, drives, compressors, etc. >>More than half of the repair team use it every day!<< That's where I was made aware of it and I've been using it ever since. Both Philips are the right size and geometry to fit almost anything…
