Good idea, but difficult to implement.

I received this item because my dog was being trained to ring the bells on the front door but I couldn't always hear them depending on where I was in the house. It seemed like the perfect solution! It has a good volume and is easy to use, but I had a really hard time getting the dog to ring the bell before he went outside! As she rang the bell she noticed that she was making a noise, but the doorbell is in a different part of the house and she doesn't seem to understand that it makes a noise…

Doesn't work from 100'

I really like the product and will continue to use it. My dog learned this in just a few days. The biggest downside, however, is that the wireless receiver doesn't work within 100 feet as stated in the product description. Luckily I can still hear the listener upstairs, and I installed it a few feet from the paw. The biggest problem is that my dog squeezes his paw to put pressure on it and it easily gets out of reach so he doesn't make a sound even if he hits it right. I'll try to nail it to…

Stop working in the cold and stuck garage doors.

The transmitter (paw button) doesn't work if left in the winter cold, so it's useless in winter. A few months ago we threw the device in the trash can in the closet. I'm guessing he's been tossing and turning in the trash can for the past few weeks with the button pressed and turned off. We had many problems with our garage door (Liftmaster Elite Series) and none of the remotes or garage keypad worked over the weekend. After giving up my own troubleshooting, a garage door technician came to see

Pugsley rings the doorbell

Attached Video I got my dog to press the dog bell button. It only really lunges at it when I can't reach it, but it seems to hold on. I can put a mat on the back to keep it from sliding on the tile - it also has a hole so it can be hung on the wall, but my dog found it rather uncomfortable to press. It took Pugsley some time to learn how to press the button, but now you'll see that he's a master at it. – He seems very fond of walking outside, especially in the rain. The bell can be set to chime

The solution to the dog problem

This product is great. I was looking for something my dog could use to signal us when to go outside so we could actually HEAR when we were in the back rooms of the house. She already knew how to ring the hotel bell but it wasn't loud enough for us when we were upstairs and we went downstairs to find the accident on the carpet. This solved the problem. She was very easy to train because she already knew how to ring the other bell, the pad was a little different, but she figured it out very…

8 years later still in operation!

I bought this for my dog who doesn't want to bark to get away. Although she won't be using it (her fault, not the device) my other dog uses it and it works fine. One caveat, this only works indoors - the pusher paw and wireless receiver work well from different rooms in the house (or the same room) and we use two pusher paws with a receiver (one on the front door and one on the door). the door). back door.) However, once the dog is outside, he cannot use his paw. The receiver will not respond…

Only 3 stars? for doors, gates and ramps

Did NOT purchase this product at first due to the low reviews. Instead, I bought Tell Bell. Check out my Tell Bell review and you will understand why I bought this product after all. Based on some of these reviews I bought this product (call) plus the "extra" paw pad. When I received the package, THIS item came with both the pillow and the bell box. So, I have an extra paw. It's good. Better than not getting both parts. Just using common sense (click and reward) to teach my 11 month old 40lb…

Great idea/mediocre execution

I've had this dog-dog doorbell for a year now. The system has worked perfectly for me for its intended purpose. My dog scratched to let us know when she wanted to go out and when we were buying a new house I didn't want the new door frames covered in scratches. It took about two weeks to teach her to constantly ring the bell without scratching first. During this time I had dog shoes that she wore to avoid scratching herself on the tree while exercising. It wasn't difficult to teach her how to…

Great idea, wish it worked better

Before I bought this doorbell, my beagle had a terrible habit of scratching the front door to get our attention. He practically yanked the door open, so I started looking for an alternative. I got my favorite doorbell a few weeks ago and was thrilled at the thought of not having to constantly fix the door. The product itself looks exactly like the picture, but I noticed problems with it straight away. At first I tried ringing the bell while standing on the floor. He didn't call. I thought it…
