I like the design and if it worked, the functionality. Now, seven months later, it barely keeps up with the MacBook Pro 12/2017, which only has 4 USB-C ports. If my laptop moves even a few millimeters, communication with this device is lost - this is annoying, to say the least! Not abused in any way. I will ask Lention if they want to replace my device. I originally gave this review one star. The internet died after about an hour. However, I took full advantage of it. All slots were connected. Keyboard, Kensington mouse, monitor, ethernet and even an SD card. So the ethernet went down and I gave it a bad rating and got on with my life. I like it very much. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because the 12" MacBook has a connector on the left side (my friend's MacBook Pro has a connector on both sides). Being able to plug in only on the left side makes it difficult to set up my desk. Many monitor ports are on the right side. It would be nice if the logo was smaller or if there was a little clear/white rubber bumper to keep it from sliding on wooden tables, it slides and scratches the paint off my dented fancy desk.
