I like the design and if it worked, the functionality. Now, seven months later, it barely keeps up with the MacBook Pro 12/2017, which only has 4 USB-C ports. If my laptop moves even a few millimeters, communication with this device is lost - this is annoying, to say the least! Not abused in any way. I will ask Lention if they want to replace my device. My main complaints at the moment are against Apple. This disconnection of all devices and cables on all 4 individual ports that they designed for this machine is a constant problem. Apple's own charging cable, which they shipped with the machine, doesn't stay connected when the laptop moves slightly. Many times I've left my power cord plugged in, just plugged Apple's own cable into Apple's USB-C port, and I come back a few hours later to find the device isn't working because the power cord connection is very loose (I speak literally 1/4 millimeter is enough) crooked. This is a ridiculously non-functional design from Apple. I'm going to pursue a big problem with them. I know other people have the same problem with the computer's non-working design with only four ports (LAN adapter - 3.5mm audio out), so I assume that because of this defect, the Apple 100 times, there will be another class action lawsuit. without providing other types of data ports to offer options! Update: I would like to thank Lention for their excellent customer support and for providing me with a new device. I'll use it and see how the connection holds up. I found this to be good functionality as long as the connection to USB-C ports is maintained.
