A+ Fairly easy installation even without instructions. You need to cut out the top where the handle goes but not where the bottom stem goes. Great quality and really nice addition to x3!

This is a huge improvement over the factory traction belts. I didn't find the included fasteners (screws) to inspire confidence, so I replaced them with quality stainless steel fasteners. I also trimmed the bushings slightly with a Dremel cutting wheel and installed flanged bushings to eliminate play and ensure a smooth, stick-free ride. If you have X3, you need it!

Overall very happy with the product. With a little trimming of the plastic trim, the door handles look great and work smoothly. Much nicer than the original tapes. The handle itself is very strong and the workmanship is top notch. For the price they are unbeatable. Check out my photos for reference when cutting the plastic cover. Note that in the slot that the original tape went through, I had to remove about 1/8 inch from the top to enlarge the rectangular hole a bit.

I just installed these buttons and am amazed at how they work. A HUGE improvement over those ridiculous standard traction straps. The door is easier to open from the inside and MUCH easier to open from the outside. The only thing that bothers me is the lack of instructions. Installation is pretty easy if you look at the previous reviewer's photos on Revain and the hardware diagram. The system looked pretty easy to install but I made the mistake of installing the rod on the outside of the mechanism instead of the inside so the cover had to be reinstalled . impossible. You should have some basic instructions and a template to cut out the cover. Also the spring in the photo which is not included in the kit. This would make the heavier lever assembly much easier to operate. Also add some thread lock as I see the bolts loosening in the future after a couple of rough rides…

Much better than trying to find a cable. I bought these because most people trying to get into CanAm have trouble opening the door. You tend to pull the handle out instead of back, these handles solve that problem. A small modification to the plastic is required, but nothing major if you're on hand. As written in other reviews, no instructions. However, this is a BIG mod. Additional notes on top of Dave's comments and instructions: Remove trim. Drill out the useless red band with a 1/4" bit. Drill out the rivet. Drill the bottom hole to match the bushing.
