In fact, it's a time bomb ready to explode

I only bought this a year ago to control the Christmas lights. Now that he'd unpacked it and installed my circuitry, he fried all the electronics. There is a short circuit of 5 V + and - with a resistance of 50 ohms. That should not happen. Revain must ban the sale of this product.

Pros
  • It's all right!
Cons
  • Only available in white

Worth every penny in Power Accessories

Loved it. Works perfectly. I can't say anything negative about it. Use mine to install an LED strip around my gaming table along with a WiFi controller to control any LED from my phone, tablet or computer at will. A bit overdone with the amps, but just for future reference in case I want to use it for a bigger project later. Definitely recommend.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

Ideal for SOC nutrition.

Some other customers complained about the lack of packages or CAD files to include in other systems. It does not bother me. I screwed it to a panel on the wall of my wiring closet, where it powers multiple SOC computers to run simple services on my home network. It doesn't need to look pretty (remember: the control panel) - it just needs to be able to provide a constant 5V under various loads, and it does an excellent job of that.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons

Good quality for the price. - 5v40A

Although the board is installed at a slight angle it appears to be of good quality and works great. A little more than I expected, but it might lead to some strength. I am planning to use 3 clamps to install a pair of addressable LED strips 5m long. I also have almost no voltage drop which is exactly what I needed. However, be sure to test it with a multimeter before connecting it to the circuit. The default output I had was 5.55v so I had to adjust it a bit.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Not sure

Works but according to

This baby works well. I use it to power 300 5V LEDs from Adafruit. From a functional point of view, this is great. It delivers consistent performance and I haven't had any issues. The disappointment is that the fan is bloody noisy. Think "vacuum cleaner”. While it's good for prototyping and testing what I'm building, it won't work in the long run. The fan is a 60mm 12V 0.15A fan. I'm debating whether to try replacing it with a quieter fan (it's just a simple 2 pin connector on the board) or a…

Stay away from this crap

Stay away from this product This product cannot withstand 5V. You have to reset the pot every time. Stay away from this article, it sucks. I can't find the box, otherwise I would send it back. Crap that says it's 5V 30 amps. I need to set the potentiometer to 5.41V so I can get the relay voltage stable at 5.09V. Every time I add a relay I have to raise the potentiometer to get an output of 5V. I expected this item to support a constant output of 5V. However, this is not the case. I have a…

Arrived damaged but still works - no more than 15A current without fan

It does the job so I can't complain. Working but arrived damaged. The corner of the metal case was badly bent and broke off the corner of the circuit board. It didn't damage any of the traces, so I straightened the chassis and taped the corner of the board. I haven't exceeded 10A but it gets pretty hot. I have my doubts that it can handle more than 15A without adding a fan. The output capacitance (8800uF) is half what I expected for a 30A low voltage power supply, and my oscilloscope showed…

Power selection INSIDE the case?

You get what you pay for. So much so that I don't even know if it really works. First, it doesn't fit the similar power supply mounts for my existing 3D printers. But to make matters worse, the 110/220V selector switch is a slide switch that sits INSIDE the case and is sealed with "no warranty against breakage". To see through the holes to see if it was adjusted correctly, I had to adjust the goggles many times, playing with the lights to make sure I could see if the adjustments were correct. ,

Pros
  • Quality workmanship

  • Negative gift

Working but arrived damaged.

Pros: The unit works great and provides the 5v I need from the 120v my wall provides. It was easy to connect and I got 5.1v out of the box (which is easily adjustable). I'm using it to power 144 WS2812B LEDs that only draw 9A max, so I can't comment on how well it performs at a 30A load rating, but it works great for my purposes. Cons: It works, although it was dented upon delivery. If it wasn't what I wanted quickly I would have sent it back. The case has been bent into the board and I am…
