Excellent product in the External Accessories category

This is a great price and great job. Why pay more for the same result. They're not chrome, are they? They should? You will not regret this purchase. I'll buy two more.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Significant improvement in chatter reduction

My factory fitted 2019 Honda Passport has a very loose receiver fit. I use this aMission Automotive silent clutch pin and clutch tensioner and the combination helps reduce the rattle significantly.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Some issues

Works as it should.

Need something to fix my oversized rear shield movement. This thing was easy to install and took no more than a few minutes. It almost completely removed all movement. Now it has only the slightest play. But there is no sound. I'm happy to buy more if needed.

Pros
  • Still happy
Cons
  • Nothing

Good idea, bad implementation.

The metal nut block was too small and twisted in the 2" shank, preventing the bolt from being fully tightened. A 5/8" flat washer should also be included to avoid scratching the powder coated receiver hitch with the lock washer. In addition, this design does not allow for quick removal of paired devices, since each time you disconnect, you need to unscrew the screw with a wrench.

Pros
  • An Absolute Legend
Cons
  • Vulgarity

No more swinging of the bike rack!

It's very muscular! We have a bike rack for 6 bikes for our family so you can imagine that's a lot of weight and rocking. This virtually eliminates frame wobble! The part of the bolt that goes into the clutch is very thick, so rest assured that you can tighten it. It works very well and I consider it a great value.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Not fashionable

Allows the use of clutch grub screws

This is a square nut, spring and mandrel that fits a male clutch. A spring holds the nut in place while the hitch is inserted into the receptacle; The threaded bolt is then fed through the receiver and hitch and threaded into the nut. The nut is a standard 5/8" 11TPI and will fit most other threaded hitch pins (e.g. lock). I used it on a 1000 mile trip to secure an old bike rack - worked great .

Pros
  • Slim design
Cons
  • Upgradeable

Definitely not as good as the lock version

- The clutch pin does not come with a socket that slides over the pin to fill the gap at the end of the clamp pin. Without a bushing, the pin will wobble and move when a drag load is applied. The photo in the ad shows there is no case, but the instructions show it comes with a case (but there was no case in the kit). - The pin is very long and extends 1 1/2" to 2" past the 2" coupler pocket. - The pin is not hardened steel. They are a lockable version and can rotate in the receiver as it is…

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Compatibility
