🔧 Chrome Ladder Accessories by Levelok: ST-ORS-3 Review

I'm a home inspector who keeps climbing on roofs, although I don't like it. These stabilizers calm my nerves as I climb the Werner ladder 28 feet off the ground to get to the roof. Getting off the roof is actually scarier than climbing it, so it does double duty! That's the difference between day and night, too bad I didn't know that many years ago. Recommended for every home inspector.

Actually, this is the first time I've seen some roofers using them and I wanted them right away. Holds the ladder on the edge of the clapboard so it doesn't pinch as the ladder rests higher on the roof terrace when kneeling. I have a very low slope property, I have to blow off the pine needles a few times a year so they make shingling much safer and easier. Not bad, just like regular racks, but the wide shank screw is sturdier, although more difficult to put on and take off.

Wow, I wish I had known that years ago! I often visit all types of roofs for repairs. You usually need a helper, and when it's 30 feet in the air it can get scary. DON'T FALL when you have these bad boys! I was able to do the firmware and gutters myself and have never felt more confident! An added bonus is that they won't dent or scratch the gutters! No hardware, just plug in and instantly feel secure. I'm glad I invested and got them. Worth every penny! Also, I weigh 300 kilos. No problem. And

It takes a little trial and error to work with ALL rooflines. We had some issues with different angles on the rooflines, where it took a few minutes to set up securely. If you have to move the stairs around the house a lot (gutter cleaning) like we do, expect it to take a little time to get it right. We're safety freaks and it was a real relief to have them installed instead of mounting them to the gutter itself. I'm not sure how long the rubber will last considering how it slides over shingles

Aside from these and I can work around what I have but I was particularly disappointed in this style shown in the picture due to the groove on the inserts and the gray silicone/rubber pads versus the black ones decided. Based on our experience with these stabilizers, the gray washers last longer under shingle friction, and the serrated inserts can be installed where the ladder rungs have a support bracket that can hold a bolt. As expected they are great for stabilizing the extension ladders I use to access my double deck gutters without putting weight or pressure on the gutters themselves. And when washing the windows on the second floor, the foam pad does not spoil the mahogany paneling on the walls. Creates a stable 4 point contact platform from your "questionable" ladder. Suddenly you don't mind climbing with things in your hands (even though you shouldn't). It's recommended to still tie the ladder down at the top, but most "Harry homeowners" won't bother with this step when using it, as it only makes the ladder that much sturdier once they're in place.
