Very good computer for GPS, finder and accessories

Very good computer. Took it for a 66 mile ride last week and compared it to a Garmin that another rider had absolutely accurately. Find a GPS signal fast!

Pros
  • Availability
Cons
  • There are disadvantages

I overestimated a little good for bike GPS navigators

I would say that the build quality does not match that of the main competitors, the screen is quite large but not very bright. Maps only show outlines of roads /Streets, no names, so not very useful and hard to read. On the plus side, the device has a landscape mode and the mounting lugs are metal.

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • Security

Build quality/design flaws

Does what it says on the tin but has serious design issues/horrible quality control. Both my original purchase and warranty replacement had the same issue: the plastic base plate cracked where there was a metal screw in the corner. Unbelievable. Avoid until they fix the problem!

Pros
  • Good thing
Cons
  • Great price

Great technique

This little guy does what he has to do and does it well. No, it's a black and white display, and it's small, so it's not easy on the eye. However, it's a small marvel at what it does and how user-friendly it is. Not only gives you a list of connected devices, but even shows their battery status. An excellent GPS completes the package. This is for cycling only so be aware.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Makes me nervous

GARBAGE? Not waterproof

Maybe I got a lemon. Maybe it's just junk. I came from the Wahoo Bolt I lost. I bought it when it came out hoping it lived up to the hype. My first problem was the wrong upload to Strava. Something happened, I drove on. Then it started raining here in Florida. While driving in light rain, the device started to flicker. While driving, the flickering became more frequent and the screen stayed off longer. The mileage was about 63 km. By then the rain was over as it had only traveled about 5 miles…

  • Alright!

an ordinary simple computer with GPS, but without Garmin.

I bought this bike computer a month ago because it has SMS, calls, etc. on the display. It also integrates with the Lezyne Smart Connect backlight. The battery life seems good and the display of the driving parameters is clearly visible. The price is really cheap. Those are the good points. Now for the bad. This isn't a touchscreen and the buttons are uncomfortable and very cramped. The display function does not show street names. If I turn off the computer, even the map files are lost and the…

Problematic when mountain biking

As mentioned the Mega has a good screen size, is easy to read, easy to set up on the phone and has good battery life. The display is quite simple, but normal. Speed, distance and time are good. And the customer support is pretty responsive and actually replies to emails. But there are a few unresolved issues after using it for mountain biking for 2 years: 1. Altitude readings vary wildly. On my typical 460-480 foot win ride (Boynton Rider 310 and Hammerhead) the Mega shows 370 to 1325 feet…

Pros
  • 48-hour maximum runtime, USB charging, high-resolution screen with vertical or landscape view.
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than other picks

GPS routing software is not fully ready IMO

I agree with the review above which says "But there is much better in firmware and the accompanying app. ." The application AND the software are completely UNUSER-FRIENDLY AND UNINTUITIVE. I am using an Apple MacBook and could not connect the device to the computer software on the laptop. The firmware cannot be updated. Cannot load routes via the USB connection to the computer. The instructions that came with the device didn't help and I couldn't get the computer to see the device.I was able to…

  • Custom designed and developed using the latest GPS technology for cycling
