The crack we had on the windshield has spread so this product was not designed for this type of crack. In the end we swapped the windshield. If it was a small crack that didn't grow, I think it would be right for the job.

I fixed a small chip on my windshield which unfortunately is still there. The product wasn't of particularly good quality, although it was easy to use. The instructions were full of errors, which doesn't very much indicate care. I will try a different product next time.

This product didn't suit me at all. I followed the instructions for the letter, but it didn't go into the slot. The worst was when they tried to take it to a professional to fix it and there was nothing they could do because there was that tiny bit of tar in it.

The product is easy to use and very effective. I would recommend having a hair dryer on hand to get the solution deeper into the crack, but if you don't have one you can also get good results. And the thing is, it can be used on multiple cracks, not just one, so it's good to have something on hand in case you need to fix a crack.

Four stars because a home set can never be perfect. This is as close as you can get to a professional repair without purchasing high quality repair kits from major tool manufacturers. My "stellar" windshield damage became almost invisible. Definitely worth the price, make sure you get the 'new' version as the plastic it's made of is a bit more durable.
