Sturdy but not sharp for the Buick Enclave

Looks like a sturdy tool. I tried cutting paper but it was boring. I'm not sure if it fits the seat belt. It's strong though, I'll keep it to myself. Store it in the Buick Enclave's armrest storage compartment.

This newer version of the hammer is black curved.

This newer version of the Hammer - with a curved black back brace - has sliding pins behind the brace that secure the brace to the car carpet. The older, black T-mount doesn't have these pins, and you have to either screw the mount somewhere (e.g. screw according to the instructions) or something with velcro or double-sided tape (e.g. ). Buy the one pictured with the curved bracket; You have other options.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product

It's always smart to be prepared.

I am planning to put this on the inner panel of the door. You want it installed in a place where you can easily grab it if your vehicle lands for some godforsaken reason. Keeping it in the glove box or some other vacant spot in the car can make it inaccessible after the chaos of a horrible accident. If your seat belt is holding you down and you can't reach your life hammer or don't know where it is, you should buckle it up. The included holder makes this easy if you have a drill and some…

is this real? in Interior

I chose the Lifehammer after reading the reviews and also seeing the Lifehammer video which emphasizes that this is a genuine item and not a fake. And they proudly speak of the GS-TÜV certification and the badge that confirms it. The product received was a two-pack with Life-Hammer written on the handle and a label stating it was a new Lifehammer brand. They are wrapped in plastic. As you can see from the photos, they don't have a GS-TUV certification plaque, so the question is whether or not…

Does what it's supposed to do

We keep them in multiple places on every machine. Never had to use it for its intended purpose. The hammer is good for breaking windows though as I had someone break their own small rear car window with mine after locking the keys inside and didn't want to wait for a locksmith. The cutter may need some practice. If you are unfamiliar with this, I suggest that you buy additional or even cheaper throwaway materials and buy unnecessary seat belt materials - then practice and let your kids practice

This tool helped me not to keel over with my 3 month old baby!

Highly recommended! On 04/06/18 I had a rollover accident with my 3 month old baby. By the grace of God we are doing well. However, we landed headfirst. I remembered having a life hammer in my glove compartment. I was able to unbuckle my seat belt and get it. I smashed the passenger side window with it and was able to crawl out. In the future I would recommend putting a velcro strap next to the driver's seat and the others in the glove box. Because if my seat belt didn't naturally come undone…

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for seniors

Very handy in the car. I bought several to have this in every car. I just need to figure out how to securely attach them to the outside of the console. I saw a video of a car falling into the water. During the impact, the object in the car shifted. When damaged, it can prevent someone from opening the glove box, and if the LifeHammer is kept there, it will suck in and destroy the target. I need to figure out how to attach this to the console next to my foot without damaging any potential wires.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Does the car have a window? Then you must buy them!

We were very concerned after an early morning accident here in Charleston, South Carolina that resulted in the drowning of 3 adults and a dog. ALL of them were locals who were keen fishermen and boaters but sadly they all died in the water of a deep creek near the river Stono right next to the pier. Here in Charleston, we are very "land restricted" because we are located right next to the Atlantic Ocean, between the large, full-flowing rivers that flow into our ports. In addition, we are…
