Perfect in every way!

I don't have a very strong upper body and was glad that this product isn't heavy at all when not full. I prefer to only fill the inner chamber once so the water doesn't stay in the plastic all day. In any case, it does not have to be filled to the very top. I mean, of course it's going to be hard! It's a great design that looks inviting on my countertop, it's easy to fill without lifting the lid and the water tastes great. I'm so glad I made the decision to purchase it despite the weight…

Class - Taste, Cleanliness and Style

LifeStraw Home has it all. Its filter is so good that you can feel the purity of the water. Even my kids said it was tastier, softer and more natural. There is no better test. But we, parents, like a glass jar. This isn't a crude excuse for a filter, it's actually a utensil you'll proudly discard when friends drop by for dinner. And it's glass, so it's easy to clean, and you know you're not cleaning plastic or rubbing particles into your drink or the environment. And the filter technology has…

Activated carbon filter? This is terrible

I liked this product at first although the safety glass cracked after a few weeks but they sent a replacement. As an environmentalist, I bought this because I was concerned about microplastics - only to find out in the last week or so that the filter in this unit is made of coal tar. Coal tar is terrible and known to cause cancer. When they said there was a charcoal block I assumed it was just a regular charcoal block. Coal tar coated carbon is now a recipe for disaster and now I feel really…

Take 30-40 minutes to prepare 7 cups of filtered water

It's easier and quicker to lug a crate of 32 bottles of spring water from your car to your second floor apartment than bother with it thing to take care of and get 7 glasses of filtered water in 40 minutes! You can't just fill the filter housing with 7 cups of water, leave and come back to find 7 cups of filtered water. no You need to put 2 cups. Wait 15 minutes. Come back and repeat the process two and a half more times! And here's the kicker: no matter how long you wait, about a tablespoon of

I'm happy with that, but I'd like some questions answered.

I really like this product. We have well water, which really isn't the tastiest. But with this pitcher we drink it now. We spent $40 a month on water until we bought this filter. However, my question is whether the carbon filter is safe for us. And if this product is made from Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene, it's safe for us. I don't understand why a product is created that gives safe drinking water to many people who really need it, but at the same time makes it unsafe. I hope the owners of…

mold grows. Customer service is rude.

Okay, say what you want to say about "coal tar". I believe the manufacturer is telling the truth that they use a different form of lab-made carbon that is not harmful. BUT the big problem is that this jug quickly becomes moldy on the plastic body. We have the third one, and every time for several weeks, like 4-5, in the filter chamber where you pour water, we start to see these weird yellow spots. They are very difficult to clean, mainly because you can't actually clean the inside of the filter

Attractive but with some limitations

LifeStraw Home 7-Cup Home Glass Water Filter Vine Program. To be honest we would probably order it to try as we are always looking for better ways to filter our water at home which is good but not very tasty. We have Pur filter pitchers, two Zero Water pitchers, and Berkey (Travel Berkey, which holds about a gallon and a half). I'll talk about the LifeStraw jar separately and in comparison to our later filters. Let's talk about the positive things first. This jug is by far the most attractive…
