Ideal replacement for original equipment.

Perfect one piece replacement for my 2003 Durango. You'll need a set of Ford outlets, $10 at Wal-Mart if you don't already have them.

o Fit and Function

These sunroof supports fit and perform exactly like Original Equipment parts. My rear sunroof no longer needs to be lifted to open and will now stay open on hot days whereas in the days when the original struts were putting pressure through the seals the sunroof would either sag or slam shut.

Be careful. in shocks, struts and suspension

Cheap bolt heads that are striped. You will dress them almost fully and then take them off as soon as they start to contract. One of the two was about half an inch longer than the other, so the only way to install it was to get someone to push harder. apply more force to the gate than is necessary to engage the deadbolt. I hope they survive the SUV because they can't be removed.

Doesn't work for me.

Bought for my 2002 Dodge Durango. Check parts compatibility before ordering. Said this part would fit. I got new shock absorbers in the mail yesterday. The cylinder diameter was smaller than the normal ones, but I installed it anyway. WILL NOT SUPPORT the weight of the hatch. In fact, they were worse than the ones I took off. Completely dissatisfied customer.
