Got this end for my student who had small hands and had trouble with the large clamp, it worked perfectly and the twist to change the bars works fantastic.

The electrode holder does not tighten well even after several weeks. I thought my last one was just dated and worn but now I realize it's a design flaw. I love the product, I just want it to get better.

I have been looking for this product for 10 years but refused to pay $50-70 to stores that own it. I used one in a gun class a few years ago and it was the best electrode holder I've ever used. The price was 1/4 of many I've found and it's great quality, I expect it to last for many years.

Do not buy. From the outside it looks and feels like a good quality item but when I opened it it was cheap. The hole for the electrode is shifted. The cable attachment was torn in several places. The threaded part on the head where the cable gland attaches has a hole for the rod that tightens the electrode, and this hole is far from the center. It's just badly done. Do not buy

What crap. We've been buying Lincoln products for over 48 years and this is the biggest piece of junk I've ever seen. Don't waste your money. If you buy a screw electrode holder spend about $40 and buy a Bernard 40B, it's worth the money and it's not made in China.

I have a 225 amp Lincoln welder and have had problems with the rod holder bending on the rod. This made it difficult to pierce the arc, so I did a little research and found that professional welders use this type of rod holder. When it arrived I quickly installed it and WOW! He has a firm grip on the rod and I was able to get the bow out quickly. The mount appears to be well made and was easy to assemble. I'll probably buy another one as a spare as they aren't that expensive.
